  Stayed in a Bloc Hotel for the first time recently. Normally I just drive to the airport the day of my flight but the price of hotel & parking, plus the convenience of not having to leave home at stupid-o'clock, seemed too good to miss. Had a room with a great view of the planes coming in to land at Gatwick. The room was spacious, with an area to leave my bags so I wasn't climbing over stuff all the time. Bed was really comfy, so I slept really well. I liked the tablet to control the lights and blinds, although it would have been nice to have been able to dim the lights or change the colour of the led lights too. Also, the TV is perhaps too large to be positioned at the end of the bed, as it interrupts your view of the planes landing while on the bed. I'm also not a fan of the flooring used throughout the hotel... Some carpet would make it feel less industrial. However, the convenience of being able to walk within minutes from your hotel room to the departure gates is what made my stay... I can definitely see myself staying here again next time I fly from Gatwick.
